Bright Heart found a wonderful tutor who lives locally to us. We were looking for a tutor who specialised in children with dyslexia and autism and Victoria linked us with Marcia who has been amazing with our son and building his confidence in writing. He really looks forward to the sessions.

We are so grateful for the amazing support our Bright Heart tutor has given our 9 year old while she was struggling with school and needing to be home educated for a while. Her tutor was so kind and fun and inventive. Finding great texts and creative ways to engage her. She was so warm and gentle, but always found ways to keep our daughter focused. It has made such a difference to her confidence (and our stress levels!). She also had lots of useful insights to share with us as parents. Our daughter is now back in main stream school and excited and enthusiastic about her learning. We still have her tutor once a week and she is always excited to see her.

The homeschooling with Bright Heart Education was really excellent. They responded quickly to our enquiries. They were flexible in responding to our detailed requests. The teacher who came to our home was a specialist in teaching children with developmental characteristics and was patient and kind with my daughter. She also gave her assignments according to her interests. My daughter did not fit in at school, became mentally unstable and could no longer attend school, but as she studied with the teacher with small step approach, she regained her confidence and motivation and wanted to attend another school again. We deeply appreciate their support.

Bright Heart are a godsend for my son's education. I have nothing but good things to say about them. After struggling with mainstream education because of ASD and sensory challenges, we found an amazing Tutor through BH. I have to say I have been very impressed with Brightheart. Their communication and finding the right tutor to suit my son has been great. I have found my son’s tutors very helpful, flexible and accommodating. I also like that they produce a lesson report at the end of each session. You can access these through your own personal portal. Bright Heart took a great deal of care to listen to my descriptions of my child and his needs and then to find the right tutor. It is a much more personalised/bespoke agency than other tutor agencies. My son had GCSE lessons with a Chemistry tutor and a Maths tutor and then a German tutor and every time the tutors were brilliant, and my son got on very well.

Harris has been instrumental in improving our daughter's confidence in Maths. She no longer hates doing her maths homework, she looks forward to her sessions with Harris and is nearly up to the same level as her peers (having been two academic years behind!)

We’ve been with Bright Heart for almost 3 years now and all 3 children are very happy with their tutors. Harris especially has been wonderful with them, flexible, always accommodating his best with the time difference which can be challenging and very supportive and invested towards the children’s educational growth. Ryan from Bright Heart is a always reachable and very responsive.

Lee is a very personable tutor who quickly established a good rapport with our 7 year old daughter. She made the lessons varied and fun and our daughter really looked forward to them. She is also very methodical and leaves great notes on what is covered in the lesson and areas to work on.

My children have been tutored by a wonderful young woman from Brightheart for nearly 4 years now. The children both have SEN and Verity has been a Godsend. She is professional, but great fun and incredibly gifted in nurturing and drawing out strengths in my children both academically and interpersonally. They both had such low self esteem about their academic abilities before the tutoring started, but that has improved for both of them significantly. They are 15 and 12. I couldn’t recommend Brightheart highly enough. It is a very good company to deal with on multiple levels and there is always somebody readily available on the phone in their offices if you need to discuss anything.

Great service. My initial enquiry was answered very promptly. After a discussion where I felt my requirements were throughly explored I was quickly matched with Jack to tutor my 15 year old son, recently diagnosed with ADHD & approaching GCSES. My son had a lot of catching up to do & was struggling with exam technique & expressing his knowledge in the right way. Jack has helped him massively - within 6 weeks the standard of his answers had improved dramatically and he was much more confident about answering questions. Jack himself was excellent. Highlights are: - being really approachable & building rapport/making my son feel supported & encouraged/ treating him as an individual - well prepared for lessons - researched the syllabus & planned accordingly - content obviously interesting as my son has never complained about coming to the lessons - definitely improved his technique in terms of approaching qus & clarity/focus of writing - flexible & easy to deal with. We would highly recommend Bright Heart education. They have been absolutely amazing with my son's education. After, sadly losing his dad suddenly he struggled with education. But thanks to Bright Heart tutors my son has managed to sit his G.C.S.E exams and not feel so over anxious about sitting them. Thank you all so very much.

I chose Brightheart for their specialisation in teaching children with dyslexia. I was worried about her English studies, but her confidence in her reading, writing and general English studies has definitely risen. I also appreciate the professional way Brightheart manage customer service - clear and direct and easy to discuss and without sales spiel (which put me off another tutor company when I was trying to find a suitable tutor). I'm paying a bit of a premium for English tuition, but the quality of tuition and the tutors experience, I think, warrant it and I don't want to take a short cut with her English. I'm very happy with my decision.

Bright Heart is a very comprehensive and thorough tutoring service. Ryan was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of dyslexia and understood exactly the particular challenges both my children were facing. He was quick to suggest an appropriate tutor and we were able to have a trial session before committing which really helped to make the decision. Both my kids got a lot out of their tutoring and the specific exercises which Melodie gave them have definitely helped them with their confidence and processing of work at school. Highly recommend.

I came across Brightheart after noticing that my 5 year old son was struggling at school, particularly when it came to deciphering letters and simple maths tasks. Unfortunately dyslexia cannot be tested for until children are older, but I wanted to find a tutor that could look for any potential signs and come up with some techniques that would help him, without him feeling that he was being singled out for 'extra help'. Brightheart were the answer! I spoke with John at length about my son's needs and he was extremely understanding and professional. A week later we met our tutor Melodie who my son had an instant bond with. She recognised all the issues I had been concerned about and set out a plan that was suited to my son. Her sessions involve lots of play-based and visual learning, which has worked miracles. My son is so much more confident and thanks to Melodie's advice we now also have a special educational needs plan in place at school too. Brightheart provide more than just a tutoring service, they give the child (and the parents) the tools to understand any concerns and confront them head on but in a manner that is very subtle. I can't recommend the Brightheart team enough! Thank you!

Wilma has made a huge difference to my 11 year old daughters spelling. She definitely understands dyslexia. Despite having to have lessons on Zoom Wilma kept the lessons fun, varied and tailored to my daughters interests. When we started with Wilma, many words my daughter wrote were indecipherable, now there are numerous sentences with no mistakes at all.Wilma also taught my son with ASD/ADHD Mind maps, which has enabled him to study independently, rather than needing me to organise and focus him.Everyone in the team is empathic and so helpful. We have had a tutor in from Birght Heart education for our son. He is autistic and the lessons have become a real highlight of his week. Our tutor is amazing, really cares about our son and has adapted how she works to suit his learning style.We've seen a great improvement in his schoolwork and also in his interactions with us and his brothers at home.I can't recommend Bright Heart education highly enough.
