*Tutors are self-employed, independent contractors who enter into a contract for services with Bright Heart (an employment business).

After successful screening, the next step is an online interview with one of the directors or education consultants. This is then followed by an in-person meeting prior to tutoring.
Successful candidates will be required to sign our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy (available here) and complete nasen online training, and safeguarding induction and annual refresher training.
All candidates must have a clean and current Enhanced DBS certificate (with a check of the children’s barred list) – we can apply on your behalf. Candidates will also be required to provide 2 relevant professional references and a parent reference and have the right to work in the UK.
