Bright Heart was recognised again for their excellent work in UK’s tuition sector. Congratulations to all finalists and winners!
We were delighted to once again be recognised at the National Tutoring Awards 2025, held at the prestigious Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on 4th July. These annual awards celebrate excellence, innovation and dedication across the tutoring sector – bringing together leading providers, practitioners and advocates for personalised education.
Bright Heart was shortlisted in three national categories this year, as well as one of our tutors:
Representing the team on the night were Ryan Stevenson, Shannon Allen, and Lulu herself.
We were proud to be named Runners-up in the Alternative Provision Provider of the Year category – recognising the growing strength and quality of our work with students outside traditional educational settings.
Nominees in this category were assessed for:
At Bright Heart, our alternative provision is guided by our empathetic, nurturing approach. We focus on academic and emotional progress, personalised learning plans, and young people’s aspirations – building self-esteem and confidence. This is overseen by our Education Consultants (with QTS) and delivered by our experienced and vetted tutors. With our increasing partnerships with local authorities and schools, and an emphasis on consistent and inclusive tuition, we’re thrilled that our work is being nationally acknowledged.
We were also honoured to be named Runners-up in the Tuition Business of the Year (£1m+) category for the third year in a row – continuing a remarkable track record:
This category recognises tuition providers with a revenue of over £1 million who demonstrate excellence across all dimensions of their work. Finalists had to show:
Bright Heart’s mission has always been more than academic results. We combine care, dedication and personal connection to help each student flourish. Our continued recognition in this headline category reflects our team’s unwavering commitment to impact, and a business model grounded in ethical growth, quality, and inclusion.
We were thrilled to celebrate our SEN tutor Lulu, who was shortlisted for SEND Tutor of the Year 2025. Lulu’s work with complex learners has been transformational, and her nomination continues Bright Heart’s strong record in this category – with Bright Heart tutors having won in both 2022 and 2023.
Lulu’s shortlisting speaks volumes about the depth of expertise, compassion and creativity across our tutor network. We’re incredibly proud of her and all the dedicated Bright Heart tutors who make a difference daily in the lives of students with additional needs.
We extend our deepest thanks to our tutors, partner schools, local authorities, and families who have made this journey possible.
As we move forward, we remain committed to expanding access to our high-quality, nurturing tuition – and to supporting students who need it most, both in and beyond the classroom.
If you are seeking some award-winning tuition, please feel free to get in touch with us should you have any questions about support for your child. We enjoy talking with parents and helping our students by tailoring learning to their individual needs.
